Although Quat'rues products have become 100% organic cotton after a few years, they have always come from fair trade sources.
Our customers, and consumers in general, are increasingly interested in the origin of the products they buy. We explain why we have chosen to work with clothes from fair trade sources, and this from the beginning of the Quat'rues adventure.
Better for Human
It was important to us to be transparent from the beginning of the Quat'rues adventure by working with channels that guarantee fair and safe working conditions for producers and workers, as well as a fair remuneration for their work.
By allowing producers to sell their products at a fair price, fair trade enables them to support themselves and their families, while allowing them to invest in the development of their business.
Better for the environment
Fair Trade also helps to preserve nature by encouraging producers to use sustainable and environmentally friendly production methods.
Fair Trade products are often (still in the case of Quat'rues) organic products, which are grown without harmful pesticides and are therefore not only better for the health of consumers, but also for the environment.
An ethical choice
Fair trade allows consumers to make ethical choices by buying products from sustainable and responsible sources.
By choosing Fair Trade products, consumers show their support for often very vulnerable producers and workers and help build a more sustainable and just world for all.
A logical choice
The reopening of French textile industries is obviously important. However, it seems more coherent to us to do so with raw materials that grow in our country, or even on the European continent.
Cotton comes from other regions of the world where it has been grown and processed for hundreds of years. Its work is necessary for millions of people and promoting fair trade means perpetuating their jobs by ensuring better working and living conditions.
